Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of ShowReady as it currently operates.
ShowReady is a marketplace-style platform for pageant, prom, and eventwear listings. ShowReady provides listing, seller profile, messaging, and moderation tools, but ShowReady is not the buyer, seller, renter, owner, or shipper of listed items unless expressly stated otherwise. ShowReady is focused on the UK market. Sellers outside the UK may use the platform where their listings are intended for UK buyers.
You are responsible for ensuring that any information you provide when creating or using an account is accurate and up to date. You are also responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity carried out using it. You must not share your account improperly or attempt to gain access to accounts, systems, or areas of the platform you are not authorised to use.
If you create a seller profile or submit a listing, you are responsible for ensuring that the information is accurate, lawful, and not misleading.
Sellers are responsible for the condition, pricing, delivery terms, legality, and market suitability of the items they list, including where items are offered from outside the UK to UK buyers.
Sellers must have the right to upload and publish any photos, profile photos, text, video, or other content they submit to ShowReady.
ShowReady may edit, reject, unpublish, or remove listings or profile content where necessary for moderation, safety, legal compliance, platform quality, or operational reasons.
Visitors should carry out their own checks before entering into any purchase, rental, or other arrangement. ShowReady does not guarantee the identity, honesty, quality, safety, ownership, or performance of any seller, buyer, or listed item.
If you use ShowReady messaging or platform tools, you must not send or publish unlawful, abusive, threatening, misleading, fraudulent, harassing, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate content.
You must not use ShowReady to commit fraud, impersonate another person, upload content you do not have the right to use, interfere with the operation or security of the platform, or attempt unauthorised access to data, accounts, or systems.
ShowReady may review reports, moderate content, remove messages or listings, restrict features, suspend accounts, or retain moderation records where we consider that necessary to protect users, investigate complaints, or enforce these Terms.
Any purchase, rental, payment, delivery arrangement, collection, return, dispute, refund, or other transaction is between the people involved. ShowReady is not a party to those arrangements and is not responsible for their outcome.
If ShowReady records listing activity, publication status, or other account-related actions, that does not make ShowReady a party to any underlying transaction.
Users retain responsibility for the content they submit. By submitting content to ShowReady, you grant ShowReady a non-exclusive right to host, store, reproduce, display, format, moderate, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, promote, and protect the platform.
This includes permission for ShowReady to feature listing photos, videos, titles, and descriptions in marketing or promotional materials relating to the platform or the listing itself, including on ShowReady's website, Instagram, and other social media or marketing channels.
ShowReady may change, suspend, or remove features, listings, pages, or access to the site at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the platform will always be available.
You may stop using ShowReady at any time and, where available, request or initiate account deletion. ShowReady may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to accounts, listings, seller profiles, or features where we believe this is necessary for safety, moderation, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or enforcement of these Terms.
ShowReady is provided on an as available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that listings are complete, accurate, current, or suitable for any purpose.
ShowReady is not responsible for off-platform dealings, losses, disputes, failed transactions, delivery issues, item condition disputes, user misconduct, third-party services, or losses arising from reliance on user-submitted content.
ShowReady is focused on the UK market. Sellers outside the UK may use the platform where their listings are intended for UK buyers, but they remain responsible for ensuring that their listings, delivery terms, and transactions comply with any laws, taxes, customs requirements, and consumer obligations that apply to them.
These Terms may be updated from time to time as ShowReady evolves. Continued use of the site after updated terms are published means you accept the revised terms.
